Mama Care Africa was founded by healthcare professionals committed to addressing one of the most pressing healthcare challenges facing Africa: preventable maternal mortality.
While working in maternal healthcare, our team witnessed the incredible dedication of healthcare providers serving communities with limited resources, limited specialist access, and limited opportunities for continuing education.
We believed there was an opportunity to strengthen healthcare systems by supporting the people who care for mothers every day. What began as a vision has evolved into a growing organization bringing together healthcare providers, governments, universities, nonprofits, and technology partners to improve maternal health outcomes across Africa.
